Pinochle+ App Reviews

Its fun, challenging and a good boredom reliever. I always preferred pinochle to bridge even though its a bit old fashioned - was much more popular with previous generations. This app is perfect - no glitches at all.

This is a great app that the developer improves often. It plays a intuitively as any computer could hope. If you like pinochle already you should get it.

I love pinochle; however, this automated version leaves a great deal to be desired. After losing the vast majority of games, I started showing all the cards and noticed a pattern of the opponents having aces and straights while my team would have 1 or 2 aces and lots of non point cards. Anyway, not much fun to play.

I use to love this game, it was by far the best version out there.....UNTIL the latest update! Previously, you just shook your head at some of the plays that your partner in the game would make, or some of the decisions they made... but for the most part, they gave you reasonable cards when passing.....and at least had something worthwhile in their hand if they were bidding 100! but NOW....OMG! They will outbid YOU and then make trump out of a suit they only have 5 cards instead of the suit they have 10 or 12 cards in! And heaven forbid that they pass you any cards they have in your trump, or jack of diamonds, queen of spades, even if they only have one or the other and you would have had double pinochle with that stupid lone queen ( that wasnt doing ANYTHING for them). They have dumbed your partner to the point that you feel they are playing against you! It was never this way before the latest update....not even close to this bad! They have given you what has to be the DUMBEST partner in the history of the game! You make spades trump(as an example), and your partner gives you 2 jacks of clubs, a ten of hearts and some other ridiculous card....all while they are holding 5 or six cards in your trump, or maybe they have 2 queens of spades in their hand,but they give you a queen of hearts, so they keep their MARRIGE in spades. On top of this, they have made it to where you cant see all the cards on the screen, if you decide to show all cards (which you almost have to do, since you have THREE people playing against you ( one of which is your partner). Reviously, it wasnt like that. Its horrible! I want my game back PRIOR to the update!!! Its almost to the point that you dont want to play anymore...or if you do, you quit playing it within ten minutes because your blood pressure is boiling over!

Stupid update and no longer fun to play. Partner passes illogically and ruins the game.

Its obvious that the developer of this game is not a Pinochle player! I, finally, played the game with all hands open to try and understand why the players were making such huge mistakes. My partner over bid me 6 times after opponents passed, with one ace in hand and could not make a run! Another hand where I took the bbodband partner did not pass ace of trump! The deals are unusual, not what one would get with regular cards. developer

Get rid of this update!! Holding trump and passing other suits?? Really?? Totally illogical passing! I used to like to play, now its really frustrating!! Looking for another app

I own this program... Somehow my update substituted this program for the one I had. Question? Whats wrong with it? When I set the prefs for 500 points, bidder wins... Then I (north/ south) go over 500 points, sometimes east/west has less than 400 points, north/south will lose because as software will wait til east/west WAITS til they get over 500 points, What the hell is going on? I have been really upset with the new passing algorithm. The app holds trump in favor of meld. More than once I should have had a double run but the app passed non-trump cards instead of passing trump cards

Bought this app and loved it. Now there are ads appearing. Very annoying. Am trying to find another version to purchase so I wont have to look at ads while Im playing.

Get rid of the ads, and do something about when the cards are actually thrown into play, the cards are so small I accidentally keep throwing the wrong card, and even if I hold onto the card, once it is selected I cannot put it back into my hand.

Who ever wrote this program sure didnt know how to play the game! Get with the program and do it right,PLEASE. Do you even look at the reviews! Please play the game RIGHT!

By far the best visual design and best Pinochle app. There are annoying issues when it comes to the play experience that need improvement. Once a suit has been trumped, the partner continues to throw away counters that could be saved. The partner will hold on to counters until the end and unnecessarily loose tricks that could have been saved earlier. That said, I still enjoy playing this game.

Since installing update version today app locks up during melting part of game. App will let restart game only to lock up again at same point. Hope app problem is fixed soon. I like playing Pinochie Plus Apps. First problem I have ever encountered with this app

Please update your update. It always freezes. The old version didnt do that.

For some reason it keeps freezing up. Frustrating!

Game now randomly hangs since latest update.
